Updated: Feb 6

Chicken feet make for a rich, gelatinous broth that is full of the nutrients like collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin.
Two pounds of chicken feet will produce about a gallon of bone broth.
Chicken Bone Broth Recipe
Prep time 20 minutes Cook time 4-12 hours
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken feet
2 large onions, chopped
4 bulbs garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons mixed spices: bay leaf, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, clove, and cumin.
1 tablespoon Himalayan Pink Salt (or more to taste)
1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Optional: other herbs, more garlic, or vegetables for flavor — carrots, leeks, celery, parsnips
Simmer time is usually between 4-10 hours until the broth is reduced by 1/3.
When done, strain the solids from the broth using a cheesecloth or a fine mesh sieve. Bottle the bone broth and store in fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 6 months.
